Rich Robinson is the lead guitarist, founding member and songwriter from the Black Crowes, one of the biggest Blues/Rock Bands in the world having sold over 30 million records, toured the world several times and was the band Jimmy Page chose to back him up when he went on tour.
Here is what the critics are saying about Chris and I could not agree more. “A solo artist worth taking seriously…It’s why this is such a significant solo album—even at their most melodic, the Crowes are simply too brash and energetic to ever be this delicate. By stepping out of the Crowes’ comfort zone, Robinson proves that he’s more than a gifted instrumentalist. Robinson has developed a writing style that is indeed reminiscent of the Crowes but also encompasses levels of emotional intricacy that the Crowes, for all their power, are sometimes incapable of reaching.”
Rich will be bringing a band of top notch musicians. To see an artist of this stature in such an intimate setting will be a very special evening. Regent Theatre contact listed above. For the Capitol Theatre call 905-885-1071 or on line at capitoltheatre.com
